Holiday coming. People are starting to behave differently. In some social networks people has been published copiously desire that are about to travel, others, or even meet and talk on the phone for fear that something may prevent your extremely expected holiday.
The city starts to get rocks, the cars on the streets have to hurry to arrive to who knows where.
Supermarkets are packed. People are more agitated and aggressive than usual. The kind who previously was restricted is even smaller. Everyone wants priority, nobody respect the pedestrian crossing... What do they want? Enjoy the holiday at all costs... lol
It reminded me of our ancestors. At the time of the caveman din't know when it would have food available (which could now be compared with our clearances from work).
At that time, our ancestors wanted only to ensure a survival mechanism. When there was food and drink in abundance, primitive man ate and drank as much as he could and it faced no challenge, running, beat or even kill if necessary to reach what he wanted.
Unfortunately, this survival mechanism remains today in our DNA. However, all of this evolutionary process, many things have changed, but our bizarre biology doesn't suffer a lot of changes.
In the Middle Ages, the Latin word feriatus was synonymous of party. The term, which at first meant only free day, the time has come to mean guarantee of excitement and celebrations. Although today we are considered evolved humans, when we are on the eve of a holiday, still seem a lot from our ancestors.
If you've seen the movies: The Day After Tomorrow - 2004, Independence Day - 1996 and The Day the Earth Stood Still - 2008, you've probably noticed that Eve holiday... until it seems that the world will end and that somehow still behave like our ancestors after all:
...Holiday: may seem like a bizarre biology. Lol
